Installation Suggestion

The antenna is recommended to installed in a relatively open and high position, such as the roof, near the window or out of the window. If the antenna is placed indoors, the signal transmission distance will be reduced.

Higer dBi is not always better

  • l Choose a lower dBi antenna if you’re in the city or surrounded by the tall buildings(A high hotspot density).
  • l Choose a higher dBi antenna if you living in the suburbs or wide open spaces(A low hotspot density).

Low VSWR

The VSWR of this antenna is 1.12. Specifically tuned for the US 915MHz frequencies.

Because anything below an SWR of 1.5 has a minimal (4% at 1.5) impact on range,the closer the VWSR is to 1, the smaller the reflection.
